Rainbo

Established in 1994, Rainbo is an African led international non-governmental organisation working on Health and Rights of African Women. Over the years, Rainbo has articulated a distinctive African women’s voice at the heart of an ongoing global dialogue on reproductive health and rights.

Building on the work of women’s organisations in the 80s, Rainbo has provided moral leadership and has seen an improvement in the wellbeing of women, their children and their families.

Rainbo’s mission is to improve the lives of African girls and women and empower them to participate in development through improving their access to reproductive health and rights.
