Nigeria: Economy Not Growing Enough to Eradicate Poverty By 2015, Says IMF
The International Monetary Fund on Friday said that Nigeria economy is not growing fast enough to eradicate poverty by 2015. The World Financial monitor said in its 2006 Africa Regional Economic Out look that growth in Nigeria accelerated by nearly one percentage point to 6.9 per cent, attributing it to strong performance in both the oil and non-oil sector.
